The College employs two full-time instructional technology consultants, and pre and post award grant specialists.

The Carolyn Freeze Baynes Professorship in the College of Health and Human Performance (HHP) was made possible by a generous donation made by Charles and Hazel Freeze of Mooresville, North Carolina, in honor of their late daughter, Carolyn Freeze Baynes. Deeply committed to her family and community, she became an ardent supporter of East Carolina University programs through the influence of her husband Michael R. Baynes, an ECU alumnus. Soon after her retirement from state service she was diagnosed with cancer, and she was lost to the disease in 1999. The professorship affords HHP's School of Social Work the opportunity to recruit and/or retain an eminent scholar, at the Associate Professor or Professor rank.
