Our showroom is open from 9:00am – 5:30pm Monday – Friday. function Description This is a full time, onsite position for a CAD specialist/Technical Designer/draftsperson in the New York City Metropolitan area. You will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate computer aided design (CAD) drawings for kitchens and other related rooms. Close collaboration with the Sales Designers, factory, and Project Management team is required for seamless execution of our projects. knowledge cabinetry and residential construction is essential for this function. Comfortcapability and familiarity with visiting residential construction sites to take accurate measurements and check on the status of projects, as well as interacting with high end clientele, architects and designers is important. Sourcing materials, requests for quotes, and superviseing orders requires strong organizational expertise. From time to time you may also be asked to participate in design presentations. Qualifications » 2 – 5 years practice. » Proficiency in AutoCAD. » capability to create renderings is preferred. » Cabinetry/millwork drawing practice – creating floor plans, elevations and details. » Strong attention to detail and the capability to create precise and accurate drawings. » Excellent communication and collaboration expertise. » The capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. » The capability to see a project through from start to finish. » Associate degree or higher in a significant field is preferred, but practice is most important.
