Special Conditions: The department is especially interested in candidates with active listening, respect for confidentiality and professional boundaries, resilience, patience and humility, a non-judgmental approach, a genuine interest in others. knowledge and consciousness of the needs of underprivileged individuals and other persons who face barriers to employment (WIOA, TANF, SNAP, Youth). Limited travel all over region and proof of valid driver's license in good standing and automobile insurance is required.

This is a grant-funded position contingent upon funding availcapability.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Some nights and weekend work for special events may be required.

Working Conditions: While performing the tasks of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Works closely with collaborative partners to recruit participants to
GROWWTH program.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Provides case management to assigned participants to ensure they are connected to resources to alleviate barriers to training and work. Interviews and assesses each participant to gather information on their needs and uses assessment tools as needed to match participant to eligible resources.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Ensures that all participant updates are recorded in the case management system on the same day in conformity with program regulations and procedures.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Monitors performance and progress to goals and shares with other staff connected to family.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Demonstrates self-management techniques to participants such as active listening, coping techniques, advocacy, and self-help strategies with a focus on helping residents to prepare for employment that leads to self-sufficiency
