How will your days be spent » This position isresponsible for planning, programming, and developing healthcaredepartments within large, complex medical facilities. » Collaborate withmulti-disciplinary teams to deliver specific pieces of projects(e.g., departments, floors, etc.) on schedule and withinbudgets. » Guide and manageuser/client expectations by coordinating and running user meetingsfor needs assessment in order to prepare functional and spaceprograms. » Responsible forarticulating and communicating the client's vision, goals, andobjectives through development of the project work plan during theplanning phase. » Participate inclient presentations and project meetings, helping to providedirection for team members and consultants. Begin presenting toupper-level client groups. » Assist theproduction team to produce documents reflective of the owner'sgoals and consistent with project goals, planning parameters, andprogram intent. Be available to the CA team to answer clinicallysignificant questions and provide solutions. supervise the shopdrawing review process to ensure design intent is met. » May mentor lesspracticed planning team members. » Travel to clientsmay be involved depending upon client needs. What you bring to this function practice » Minimumof ten years of recent practice in planning, programming, anddeveloping healthcare departments within large, complex medicalfacilities required. » Broadbase of practice with inpatient, ambulatory, diagnostic, andacademic medical facilities required. Projects completed withmultiple clients preferred. » Thoroughexpertise of codes and standards as related to healthcarefacilities, individual municipalities, State, IBC, ADA, ANSI, NFPA,FGI Guidelines, and specialty-specific standardsrequired. Software » Proficiency in Revit required » AutoCADpreferred Education » Associatesdegree in architecture, engineering, planning or related fieldrequired; architectural degree preferred. » Professionalregistration preferred. » Sustaincapabilityaccreditation preferred.
