Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Some evenings and weekends may be required.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Works with the Director of Teacher Education & Clinical Practice and Program Coordinators to coordinate clinical and residency practice placements for graduate and undergraduate teacher education candidates.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Assists the Director of Teacher Education and Clinical Practice to collect, manage and analyze formative and summative evaluations submitted from mentor teachers and clinical managers for clinical and residency placements.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Works with the Director of Teacher Education and Clinical Practice to provide students and teacher candidates with all necessary information to prosperously receive clinical and residency placements and coordinates completion of all clinical and residency placement requirements. supervises and monitors background check process.

tasks & Job responsibilities: In coordination with the Director of Teacher Ed & Clinical Practice, identifies appropriate part-time residency and clinical residency managers for the senior year residency and M.A.T. clinical teaching and maintain a database of current and potential, qualified mentor teachers, university clinical managers and part-time staff. Assists Director of Teacher Education and Clinical Practice with planning and coordinating Mentor Teacher and university Clinical manager professional development sessions

tasks & Job responsibilities: Ensures that mentor teachers and administrators at affiliated sites receive electronic copies of the Handbooks and other significant materials and field calls from area principals and districts seeking potential teachers. In collaboration with Office of Teacher Education staff, coordinates face-to-face and online orientation for new and transferring students. Develops, monitors and submits contract information for all mentor teachers and residency clinical managers, including processing mileage reports. In collaboration with the Director of Teacher Education & Clinical Practice, coordinates, advertises and co-hosts Pre-Residency, Residency I and Residency II informational meetings for students and teacher candidates.

tasks & Job responsibilities: In collaboration with the Director of Teacher Education & Clinical Practice develops, coordinates, and supervises Freshmen and Sophomore students' induction into the teacher education program program and plans and implements educator preparation student organization meetings and events.

tasks & Job responsibilities: In coordination with the Director of Teacher Education & Clinical Practice, co-develops and facilitates a layered mentoring program for teacher education majors. Coordinates with department faculty student organization advisors, other office staff and adjunct Dean of Student Success to plan and implement educator preparation student organization meetings and events.

tasks & Job responsibilities: In collaboration with College recruiters and other office staff, plans, coordinates and supervises educator preparation events, including the end-of year residency celebration. Attends as appropriate local, state, and national meetings and conferences including program area, department and Teacher Education Advisory Council meetings, to remain current on trends, policies, etc. in the field of teacher education/preparation and clinical practice. Works with the Director of Teacher Education & Clinical Practice, office staff and faculty, annually review and make appropriate updates to all handbooks and websites connected with clinical and residency practices.
