Position Summary The College of Pharmacy is seeking a Student Success and Engagement Advisor. This is a full-time 1.00 FTE, 12-month, professional faculty position.

This position primarily provides academic advising services to the first and second year pharmacy students and early assurance program (EAP) students. The incumbent develops, implements, and evaluates short and long-term goals related to student academic and professional success. In collaboration with the members of the Student Success and Engagement Office, this position develops, implements, and enforces plans, policies, procedures, systems, programs, and performance standards in support of the mission of the College.

Position tasks 60% - Student Success & Engagement Office Advising:
Primary academic advisor to the first and second year Pharm.D. students focusing on student success (academic support, wellbeing, and professional development).

Work collaboratively with the Head Advisor to actively manage the collection and assessment of the student academic success plans and monitor Pharm.D. student compliance with college's academic and professional standards, curricular requirements, and programmatic requirements.
Work collaboratively with the Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Associate Dean for Academic Programs and assist the Head Advisor in covering student concerns and participate in the development of academic progression plans.
Advise the Early Assurance Program students, and graduate students, including participating in required advising and unscheduled drop-in advising.
Develop and lead well-being programing specifically catering to professional students.
Serve as a referral agent. Respond to student concerns and coordinate response with campus agencies.

30% - Student Success & Engagement Office Administration:
Assist and participate in programming as needed, including orientations, professional development events and workshops, and prospective student events, etc.
Provide support for our holistic admissions process and assist in the admissions decision making process.

10% - College Support/Administration:
Active participation in College of Pharmacy committees.
Participate in assessment activities as needed.
Assign work to College of Pharmacy staff and student workers and supervise them in those tasks.
Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum/Required Qualifications Master's degree in College Student Services Administration or other related field.

Working Conditions / Work Schedule This position requires occasional evening and weekend work.

This position requires driving to assist with recruiting and advising on both campuses (OSU-Corvallis & OHSU-Portland) and off-site locations.
