Trapolin-Peer Architects is seeking an interior designer with a minimum of 3-8 years of professional practice to join our collaborative design team. The ideal candidate is creative, a self-starter, organized, and a team player. An Interior Designer at Trapolin-Peer Architects works closely with the firm’s project teams to develop the interior architectural design for our custom residential, hospitality, and urban mixed-use design projects.

The function:
   » Provide interior design support to a diverse set of project types and scales. Candidate must be able to prepare presentations
   » Represent the firm to material and product reps and share significant new data to project teams.
   » Incorporate sustainable design strategies and healthy materials into projects
   » Create, design and finish presentations, including material mock-ups for internal and client review
   » Work with project teams to select and present finishes, furniture, and lighting
   » Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentations
   » Generate finish plans, specifications and material selections needed for construction
   » Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts using SketchUp, Revit and other graphic programs

Desired Appropriate qualifications:
   » Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, or equivalent.
   » NCIDQ or working towards certification.
   » 1-8 years of professional practice in mixed-use, multi-family, or hospitality project types.
   » Excellent design expertise
   » Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Adobe Suite, MS Office and InDesign.
   » Bonus points for LEED AP, WELL AP or similar accreditation.
